Conservation Corps of Minnesota and Iowa

2018 Conservation Corp Intern

Crow Wing Soil & Water Conservation District has once again been selected to host a Minnesota Conservation Corps apprentice to assist with various SWCD programs. This summer Reece Boucher has been selected to be our apprentice. Reece graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN with a Bachelor's in Biology. Reeces’s term of service will run through August. During this time he will be working closely with all staff on everything from Project inspections to water quality monitoring. Reece comes to us from Ely, Minnesota where he is currently attending Vermilion Community College pursuing a degree in Watershed Science. He has a passion for being outdoors and enjoys spending time camping and canoeing in the Boundary Waters with his wife.

Conservation Corps provides hands-on environmental stewardship and service-learning opportunities to youth and young adults while accomplishing conservation, natural resource management and emergency response work.
